BigBang and TVXQ on Music Station Live

Familiar with Japan’s Music Station? One of Japan’s most respected music shows? Well, if not…here’s a brief history..is a long-running Japanese music television program. It began broadcasting on October 24, 1986 and continues to be broadcast weekly in High-definition from 8PM-9PM on TV ASAHI.

Well, this show always had its special like any other programs and one of which is the MUSIC STATION LIVE. Which they gather their greatest artists to perform their hit songs. And recently two of Korea’s hottest boy groups performed live onstage with their respective singles. They are none other than SM Entertainment’s TVXQ (DBSK) and YG Entertainment’s BigBang.

On the 25th of December these two groups were cordially invited to perform on the show. Both groups have their brief interviews and after was their live perfs. Though TVXQ was undergoing such a heavy issue they still do what they are good at, sing and perform with their song ‘Stand by U’. Not just any blunt singing, but the singing which you can tell that these boys are really more than members of a band, but indeed a family. And on the other hand, BigBang as always give their energetic performance with ‘Gara Gara Go’. The most noticeable thing there is T.O.P’s hair do…when I saw it…I was like: “OMO!! Is that you T.O.P?!” he got this afro!!! LMAO..

BigBang’s Taeyang and Daesung on Strong Heart!

Big Bang's Taeyang and Daesung were set to appear on the show Strong Heart. A preview of this upcoming episode has finally been released!

As a regular on 'Family Outing', Daesung is no stranger to variety shows. On the other hand, Taeyang can often be found on music shows but rarely on variety programs. Due to their lack of appearances, many people have been curious as to what the pair will bring to the show. Well, the preview reveals that we can expect a lot of eye candy and laughs. With a glimpse of a dance battle against Super Junior's Eunhyuk and body gags, I'm sure the episode will not disappoint!

The episode is set to air on the 29th on SBS.

~this preview sure got me almost falling off my chair..hahaha..Daesung and Taeyang’s dances are way too hilarious. And because of that I can’t wait to see the full episode. HWAITING!!! ^^

Jang Geun Suk: The Original Goo Jun Pyo?

On the latest episode of KBS Shin Dong-yup and Shin Bong-sun's Champagne, it was revealed that Jang Geun Suk turned down an offer to play the rich meanie Goo Joon Pyo in the hit drama series Boys Over Flowers!

Jang Geun Suk explained that, as he was looking at potential projects, the two dramas that really caught his eye were Beethoven Virus and Boys Over Flowers. He wanted to do both but felt that Beethoven Virus had more to offer as a learning experience since many senior actors would be appearing on the show. With that in mind, he got a role in Beethoven Virus, and the role of Goo Joon Pyo eventually went to Lee Minho.

Jang Geun Suk seems to have no regrets, and said that Lee Minho portrayed the character well and that, if Jang Geun Suk had taken on the role, it might not have been as good. Perhaps Jang saw the success of Boys Over Flowers and decided to make it up by starring in You're Beautiful, another show with a large teen fan base.

~for me, Jang Geun Seuk’s decision in turning down BOF was a good choice. He learned a lot from the drama Beethoven Virus which made him into a better actor as we could see in his latest achievement in the recently ended drama You’re Beautiful. He indeed showed us how he had grown a lot. But imagining him as the lead in BOF…hmmm…I think he might have actually done it well enough. Oh well, Lee MinHo is okay… XD

G-Dragon’s Criminal Investigations Underway

After G-Dragon's sexual escapades in front of 12 year olds at his first solo concert (Shine a Light), criminal investigations for his actions are now underway.
Prosecutors have collected all evidence and video footage of the concert and stated to Newsen on the 15th:

"We are in the process of reviewing all charges and examining the data. At this point however, we cannot say how long the investigations will take."

The prosecutor added:

"Depending on the outcome of the initial examination, the offender may be summoned for further investigations."

G-Dragon just may be in for some serious trouble.

OMO! I feel like I need to put a comment on this one. I mean GD for heaven’s sake is an artist. Not just any artist but a versatile one. He could be a model or fashion designer with his unique perception on fashion which I, by the way, really admire him. He could be a very good actor judging by his acting on their (BigBang) and his music videos and a really good singer and song writer. This issue has been going on for ages. The first one was his solo album “Heartbreaker” which was rated 19. And now his performance of his single “Breathe” in his recently successful first solo concert “SHINE A LIGHT”. To those who haven’t seen it yet here are some of the photos during his said performance:

I guess those pictures says it all. But hey! GD is a performer and he did what every performer should do in their show. And besides in the time where GD’s album “Heartbreaker” is being rated as rated 19, why didn’t they included “Breathe” when in fact its lyrics are really malicious and not so suitable for the underaged! DUH!? DOPES! Anyway I would like to quote what Luna’s video title for this issue,

GD is not Disney.

And hell yeah! Luna is right! GD is not a kiddy persona to look at. Maybe back when he was still young and still training under YG and BB hasn’t even been formed yet. But now, it’s different. GD is all grown up and for him work is work! That’s that! Why cant people understand that. Those kids who watched his concert should be reminded that what they saw was part of the show and nothing more. It’s art. It’s a performance for music. It’s ENTERTAINMENT!

F.T. Island scheduled to return to Singapore

After recently arriving in Singapore for the Sundown Seoul’d Out in Fort Canning Park on the 12th of December and after some unexpected attack on member SeungHyun, the boys of F.T. Island is scheduled to return back to Singapore on the 29th and 30th of January next year. Reports says that they’ll be having a fansign event on the 29th and a handshake/ fan meeting on the 30th! But the tickets are such a pain in the butt for it costs $100 and $150. (shocks! im bleeding! i know right!).

But not just that, our boys would be really busy these coming days. They have two scheduled shows in Japan on December 23rd in Tokyo and December 26th in Fukuoaka with Supernova and T-max - Korean Wave for New Generations. And guess what?! Good news for fans out there specially to the countries that would be mentioned, because after those events they'll start off their Asia Concert Tour in January, they'll go back to Tokyo on January 20th, and in February they'll hold fours concerts in Thailand, Hong Kong, Philippines, and Taiwan. Talk about a lot of traveling!

Wasn’t that a mouthful?! So fandom people, save your allowances for the tickets! Hahahaha..And I can’t wait for their con here..it’ll be on February! My birth month!! Lee Hong Ki~sshi, na noreul saranghae! Aye!!! Woot! Woot!!

Star of You're Beautiful Jang Geuk Suk was interviewed by Entertainment Relay and was asked about his love life.

The news portal asked him, "Have you ever had someone confess their love for you?" To be hearing this was like a bit off specially if it was for the first time you’ve heard him to be asked with a question like that. It was like, “Yah! It was Jang Geun Suk you’re talkin’ here..so obviously..”

But then this gorgeous leading man of YB had me jawdropped with his shocking confession, responding, "No female stars have." He quickly changed his answer and said, "There has been one! There has!" After gearing those I went dumb..like seriously?! Only one?!

Though he seemed quite excited to admit that. It almost looked like he was surprised by the fact that he had been hit on before.
He continued, "It happened when I was drinking tea. She said, 'I think I'd be a good match for you.' But then she never called me after that." Here I went: “Damn! She did not even call you after?! Pathetic! Poor guy.”

Jang Geun Suk also made it clear that he was a lot like his character on You're Beautiful, stating, "I am a bad boy. I feel like I'd have no charm if I were nice to my girlfriend all the time. If I get a girlfriend though, I think I'd do a good job."

~Looking back at his confession, has the world gone mad now?! Why in the whole freakin’ world does anybody wouldn’t want to hit on HWANG TAE KYUNG! SHINee returns with “JoJo” at Music Core

Hallelujah!! After immensely promoting Ring Ding Dong to the public and after some of the members of the group got sick, SHINee returns to stage so fresh with another of their catchy single entitled JoJo. The said track was also included to their recently released album Y.O.U (Year Of Us). I was so thrilled when I saw this video. I can’t help but be amazed by these five gentlemen who as i must say were freshly dressed. I really like the beanie that Taemin was sporting it really looked good on him specially on the first part of the video. And oh my effin’ gawd! MINHO!!! He was outshining everyone..lol..sorry for the exaggeration but I really think that Minho is the hottest in this perf. He just simply look cool and hot! (is there such a thing?! hahaha) And oh! Though I wasn’t lucky enough to have attented the kpop con held here in the Philippines, particularly in Manila at CCP. I am lucky to have watched Inkigayo today at 3:00 pm PH time and 4:00 KST. At first I thought I won’t be able to watch coz I dose off big time and when I woke up Inki is already airing! But amazingly after my beloved 2ne1 ladies perf..came my most adored SME talents.. SHINee!! woot!! And I must say, remixing their Ring Ding Dong was great. After the triple crown of winning who know what they’ll do next, until this! TVXQ trio responds to SM Entertainment

The three members of TVXQ, Junsu, JaeJoong, and Micky, have expressed their thoughts and feelings about SM Entertainment's decision to cancel their upcoming concert in Shenzhen, China. Their representative said, "The three members want to stand on stage as soon as possible."
He also added, "They said that they will perform at the concert in China if SME revealed their contract details. However, they are very disappointed that SME decided to cancel the concert without even discussing or attempting to show the contract." This back and forth is making us all go crazy! SHINee to perform in the PH?!

To cap the year-long celebration of 60 years of diplomatic relations between Korea and the Philippines, the Korean Embassy will hold on November 19-27 the Korean Cultural Festival, which will let Filipinos have a taste of Korean food, dance, music, theater, and arts.

But the most-awaited event in the week-long festival is the free K-pop concert scheduled on November 27. It will feature popular Korean front acts like boyband Shinee, jazz band Winterplay, and energetic rap duo Mighty Mouth.

In an email message to PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Blaise Regacho, Executive Assistant on Economic & Cultural Affairs for the Korean Embassy, said the concert was borne out of several petitions by avid K-pop fans in the country, to bring Korean stars to the Philippines. Shinee was the first group they were able to get, she added.

Composed of five the boys Onew, Taemin, Jong-Hyun, Key, and Min-Ho, Shinee is known for the group's danceable contemporary R&B songs. Since their debut last year, they have won music awards including Best Newcomer Artist in the 18th Seoul Music Awards. Shinee's fashion style of high-top sneakers, skinny jeans, and colorful sweaters created the "Shinee Trend" that's popular among college youth in Korea.

Winterplay is a group that mixes several musical genres like pop, jazz, blues, and bossa nova, to create a unique relaxed sound. The band is composed of vocalist Moon Hye-won, and her band Lee Joo-han (trumpet), Choi Woo-joon (guitar), and So Eun-kyu (contrabass).

Mighty Mouth is well-known for collaborating with famous celebrities like Sun-Ye of Wondergirls and Yoon Eun-hye of Coffee Prince fame. Mighty Mouth is composed of rappers 237 and Shorty j.

The free K-Pop concert is scheduled on November 27, 3 p.m. at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) in Manila.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS. The Korean Cultural Festival will open with "Taste Korea! Food Festival," on November 19-23 at Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City. It will feature a cooking demonstration of popular Korean dishes, an exhibition of Korean agricultural products like Korean tea, and a presentation of Korean cookbooks and fine selections of special pots, pans, and dishes. Visitors will get a chance to eat samples of Korean food like japchae, kimchi, and bibimbap.

On November 25, the National Dance Company of Korea will present "Dance of Chun-Hyang," which will feature traditional Korean dances. Samulnori, a genre of percussion music that originates from Korea, will be presented on November 26 by the Noreum-Machi troupe. Both musical events will start at 8 p.m., at the CCP.

To cap the entire festival, a Philippines-Korea Friendship Parade along Roxas Boulevard in Manila will start at 10 a.m. on November 27. More than a dozen floats and thousands of marchers will demonstrate Korean customs and tradition. The free K-pop concert takes place on the same day.

What Makes My 11.08.09 Big and Banging?!

Hmm.. i should've posted this yesterday or last 8th of November. But unfortunately I was not able to get a hold on the pc coz my dongsaeng was using it. And yesterday was...I dunno what really happen. Because i was already typing an update and just cancelled it. Urgh! I suck right?! Hahaha... anyways... maybe you guys do have a clue on what am I gonna write about from my title. Hehe.. >.<

well...i'm kinda excited coz Ii did bought BigBang's Gara Gara Go album!!! woot!!! Rejoice! hahahaha..how did it happen? hmmm.. my sister is gonna have her rehearsal for the fact that she is a member of the glee club ~~(oh sorry, im not that good of a singer, though my singing in the bathroom is quite awesome..lol! XD)~~. so me and my mom got a handful of time to spend so we decided to go and laze around the mall. we went through the department store snooping through racks of clothes of our taste but found nothing. and then she asked me where could she find this certain boutique and i said its the other way and i realize we are going to pass through Odyssey, one of my fave CD stores! and i got all hyped up coz i remember ira my co evo member mentioning that BB's album was out already there together with SNSD and SuJu's latest albums and SHINee's ROMEO album. Is it just me or does it rally looked like SME is promoting their artists in the phil?! hmm.. anyways back to BB. So I led my mom and once i saw the store i said.. "can we go there, coz i really wanna check on something..please?" and she agreed. as i was entering the shop, i could already hear BB in the background and i was all giddy inside. the first thing i asked the sales person was.."Do you have BigBang?"and she immediately gave it to me. and i pleaded my mom to buy me that CD..hahahaha..though i wanted to grab SHINee's ROMEO..i couldn't coz BigBang's album was already a whopping 550php and their album was ~~350php~~ ..OMO!!!! so i settled with BB instead..hahaha..sweeeeeeeeeeetttttttt!!!!! hahahahahaha...

yeah it costs a lot..but as what ira have said it was all worth it..the album got two discs one is the CD and the other was a DVD which contains the making of the album and some mv's plus the booklet of lyrics which i must say got T.O.P and Seung Ri a nice shot and TaeYang too..GD's was not that appealing to me coz he still got his long hair there..hmm..lol..

anyways here are some of the photos i have with my most precious BigBang GaraGara Go album..kekekeke.. ^^

Okay...I'm here now to formally introduce myself. Cause I think it's rude enough not to say who I am when I keep posting here on my blog. Well to start off, I'm Saionji Nanami, 17 years old and I am currently living in the Philippines. On my second year in nursing and hopefully finishes on the year 2012 (yey!). I'm a very naive and quite person (only to those whom I recently known) but much like of a non~stop talking machine around the ones who are close to me. I'm an addicted novel and fiction reader. I wanna read as much novels and fictionals as I can cause I for one is an aspiring writer, well...not that good of a writer. Mostly i write fanfics. Yeah, pretty lame huh?! Lol. Among the few I have already read are the Twilight Saga (oh gosh! I tell you! It's even better reading the book!),Eleven Minutes (about a prostitute), Princess Diaries Series (though its's kinda different from the movie), MACARTHUR (about the realities in life), Romeo and Juliette (tragic...), Blade Silver (addiction to cutting one's self), Nancy Drew (love adventures), Love Story (the girl died..and I cried..LMAO)and a lot more. I am passionate about the arts, specially drawing, paintings, and photoshop. Also in line with that I'm actually a movie person and a certified music lover.

And speaking of being a music lover...I'm into kpop and jpop. I'm still trying to lend my ears to mandopop and some mainland china..but I'm hook on kpop and jpop. Amongst them are music by Hey!Say!JUMP (oh boy! this 10 gorgeous young boys aged from 14-19 years old reached #1 in the Oricon Chart! Woot!!), ARASHI (they just take me by STORM!), KAT-TUN (I was seducted by Bakanishi and Kame and Junno), NewS (Pi's voice is just plain awesome), YUI (she's got the fiercesome looks but a cute voice), Otsuka Ai (her upbeat and happy music brought me to life), DBSK (these 5 awesome guys are way hotter when they sing and dance), BigBang (you wouldn't wanna miss any of 'em for each has their own style,personality and looks that will definitely sweep you off of your feet), 2NE1 (these foursome of lovely ladies are very much lovable because of their down to earth persona and antics), BoA (what can I say? she's a complete package!), Rain (totally nice voice and physique!), MBLAQ (fresh yet seductive boys!), SHINee (you'll be melting when you hear them sing Romantic, Replay and Four Seasons), Super Juniors (13 gorgeous boys) and Goo Hye Sun (Geum Jan Di is her well known name but she's one heck of a talented lass..she can act, sing, play the piano and even write books! urgh! BRAVO!!).

I must've said a lot of things about me..so I think taht will do already. And oh btw..It's nice meeting you guys. And you are welcome to be in my circle of friends. PROMISE! (i don't bite.) ^^
